Christmas on a Sunday

By Brad McKenzie,

Pastor-Jesus Saves Church

This year Christmas falls on a Sunday. We have a very unique opportunity to come and worship Jesus on His birthday. This will come in direct conflict with the world's standards of what Christmas morning should look like. It may even come in conflict with what it has looked like for you growing up. Since this only happens every 5 or 6 years, it might be the first time Christmas has been on a Sunday since you have become a Christian. I want to encourage you to make your Family Christmas plans around going to celebrate and worship Jesus on His birthday. Make plans to be at your church or if you don’t have a church, find one and go worship Jesus. There will be plenty of time after church to open presents and visit with family.

The real gift wasn't lying under a tree, it was lying in a manger.
