City approves three licenses

The special called meeting of Mayor Bennett and the City Council was held Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 6 p.m. on a Zoom call. Members Julian Sconyers, John E. Parker, Bobbie Collins, D.J. Davis, and Gregory Quarterman were present. Johnny Ray Stafford was absent.

​​The council approved an alcoholic beverage license applications for three establishments: The Liquor Vault located at 403 North Coleman Street owned by Ashley Brewer Youmans, Mojo’s Wine and Spirits located at 546 South Main Street owned by Niranjan A. Patel dba, and Lounge 2020 located at 406 Rentz Street owned by Denise Miles.
