Cofield to speak at annual Farm Bureau meeting

The National Policy Counsel for Georgia Farm Bureau’s Public Policy Department, Tripp Cofield, will be in Emanuel two weeks from now to address the local Farm Bureau at the annual meeting.

Slated for Tuesday, August 31, all area members are invited to come and hear his talk.

County President Robert Fountain Jr. saids year-end reports, highlights of committee activities over the past year, policies to be adopted affecting agriculture, and election of officers and directors will be among the items on the agenda as well.

The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. sharp at the Emanuel County Farm Bureau headquarters on Lambs Bridge Road.

The local Farm Bureau has been serving the area’s members since 1941.
