Coleman sentenced in superior court

One defendant was sentenced in Emanuel County Superior Court last week.

As part of the April 2022 term, Ginger Clorice Coleman pled guilty on drug charges in two separate cases.

In case 22-CR-69, Coleman was charged with possession of meth with intent to distribute. She was sentenced to 20 years, serve 10, and fined $50.

In the second case, 22-CR-70, the defendant was charged with possession of meth. For this, the court handed down an eight-year prison sentence, which will run concurrent with the sentencing for case 22-CR-69.

Paperwork for Coleman’s cases was finalized on Thursday, May 5.
