Crider Foods invests in the future of local communities by supporting teachers

Georgia-based Crider Foods is the most trusted name in contract food packing. In addition to making the world’s best canned, pouch, and fully cooked frozen foods, the company supports initiatives to feed our future.

The company has announced the return of its annual Teacher Pay It Forward program. The campaign encourages students, parents, and community members from Candler and Emanuel counties to nominate inspiring teachers who deserve recognition for going above and beyond. Five exceptional teachers will be selected to receive $1,500 in classroom supplies each, helping them to make an even greater impact in the coming school year.

The Teacher Pay It Forward program is part of a larger effort by Crider Foods to go beyond the factory floor, working to make a positive impact on the communities where its workforce members reside. “At Crider Foods, our core purpose is feeding families. For us, this term is more about who we are than what we do. We grow people, we support our local community, local and national business partners, our families, and those that are entrusted to us each and every day and yes, we also make food.” said Aaron Schoeneberger, Crider Foods’ Director of Marketing. “We recognize that the teachers in our local communities are superheroes. With limited resources, they are educating and enriching the future of this great nation, our children. Our hope is that the Teacher Pay It Forward campaign will not only recognize these overachievers, but also amplify their great work by providing them with additional tools to get the job done.”

Nominations are now open and can be submitted at TeacherPayItForward.com. All nominations must be submitted by no later than 9 a.m. EDT on July 14, 2022. The five winning teachers will be announced on the Crider Foods Facebook page and contacted directly on July 15, 2022. Applicable submissions must include the nominee’s name, school, grade level, explanation, and examples of why the nominee should win.
