Interment will follow at Kite City Cemetery. The family received friends Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home. She passed away at Piedmont Macon North Hospital of complications from COVID-19, going home to be with her Lord Saturday, October 2, 2021.

Mrs. Crystal Marie Brantley Lee was born March 20, 1980 to Celia Mathis and the late Ronnie Brantley and Omer Mathis. A graduate of Swainsboro High School, she continued her education at Southeastern Technical College, Heart of Georgia Technical College, and Oconee Fall Line Technical College, earning degrees in accounting and radiology technology. At the time of her death, Mrs. Lee was employed as a radiology technician with Mobile Imaging. She loved her patients and never met a stranger, even as a child. She was a compassionate and loving person to her patients, family, and friends and was always willing to help others. One example of her love for others was the memory bears she hand-stitched for others to ease their pain during the loss of a loved one. This loving wife and mother enjoyed planning vacations, mostly at the beach, for her family and planning early for Christmas, one of her favorite holidays. If there were a special event in Kite, Mrs. Lee was there to capture it in photos, especially activities of Kite Volunteer Fire Department and the Kite Founders Day Celebration. She was an integral part of all the festivities of Kite. Shopping for antiques, shopping on Amazon, and dressing up for Halloween were some of her favorite hobbies. Mrs. Lee was well-known for her cooking, especially her sweet potato soufflé. In addition to her homemaking skills of cooking and sewing, she had earned the rank of black belt in taekwondo.

She was preceded in death by her daddies, Ronnie Brantley and Omer Mathis; maternal grandparents, Kathleen and Thurman Walden; paternal grandparents, Wynie Bishop and S.L. Brantley; maternal great-grandparents, Lucy and Macon Walden and Ruth and Thomas Linnenkohl; and paternal great-grandparents, Pearl and Loren Bishop.

Survivors include her husband of 23 years, Jason Lee; teenaged sons, Blake Lee and Jaxson Lee; mother, Celia Mathis; sisters, Jenny Mullis (Darrell), Rebecca Brantley, and Tina Phillips (Tony); mother- and father-in-law, Deborah and Jerry Lee; sisters-in-law, Melissa Kirby (Brian) and Michele Lee (Darrell Caraway); brother-in-law, Michael Lee (Jana); and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Walter Drew, Brian Kirby, Danny Fortner, Todd Fortner, Michael Lee, Donald Peebles, Scott Widner, and Tad Widner.
