Dana M. Stanford, 56

Graveside services for Dana M. Stanford, 56 of Ty Ty, were held Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Poplar Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery with Reverend Scott Osborne officiating. The family received friends Monday, May 9, 2022 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home. She passed away Friday, May 6, 2022 at her residence following an extended illness.

Mrs. Dana M. Stanford was born April 24, 1966 in Adrian to the late Harvey J. Meeks and Susie Webb Meeks. She enjoyed flowers and arts and crafts, especially diamond art, crocheting, and working with vinyl on her Cricut. Mrs. Stanford was a member of Scott Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Darrell Meeks.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Stanford of Ty Ty; sisters, Sherry Ripperger (Dwayne Sumner) and Carla Johnson (Craig), both of Adrian; niece, Kayla Sumner (Larry); nephews, Matthew Ripperger (Kate Jackson) and Justin Johnson (Sandy); great-nieces, Autumn Scott and Ava Jo Johnson; great-nephews, Nollan Scott, Cole Sumner, Weston and Ethan Johnson; and many friends.

Dwayne Sumner, Craig Johnson, Larry Sumner, Matthew Ripperger, Justin Johnson, and Joey Wynn were pallbearers.

Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
