Daniels Chevrolet donates to WAA

On Wednesday, July 27, 2022, Richard Daniels asked members of the Wreaths Across America committee to stop by his dealership to receive a donation for this year's December 17th Wreaths Across American event.

The Veterans of the Library are committed to placing a Christmas wreath on every veteran's grave that are buried in the East Brook Cemetery, Early Settlers Cemetery, First Baptist Cemetery and the Swainsboro City Cemetery. So far, the veterans have walked and received veterans' information on over 600 graves in these four cemeteries.

They are asking the public to submit their veteran's name, branch of service and location in these four cemeteries if they are not already marked as a veteran. Please call the library and ask for Shari Watt at 478-237-7791.
