Danny Elliott, 67

Graveside services for Danny Elliott, 67 of Adrian, were held Monday, December 27, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Poplar Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery with Reverend L. T. Logue officiating. The family received friends Sunday, December 26, 2021 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home. He passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021 following an extended illness.

Mr. Danny Elliott was born January 18, 1954 in Dublin to Kennon Elliot and Jeanette Mimbs Tapley. He enjoyed playing his mandolin and guitar and singing bluegrass gospel music. He was of the Baptist faith, and he also enjoyed coon hunting and fishing. He was a licensed ham operator with the call sign “N4IBS,” which he stated proudly every time he went on air. Mr. Elliott loved everyone he met and had many loving friends. Above everything else, he loved his family, especially his wife, Deborah. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Deborah Elliott of Adrian; son, Ken Elliott (Mary Bridges) of Swainsboro; daughter, Stacey Mills (Johnny) of Swainsboro; brother, Kenny Elliott (Penny) of Cochran; sisters, Pam Drake of Adrian and Penny Barlow of McRae; grandchildren, Katlynn Elliott, Logan Elliott, Hunter Mills, Nathan Elliott, Forrest Mills, Lyndsey Mills, Kaven Elliott, and Maeson Elliott; great-grandsons, Chandler Elliott and Eddison Elliot; and several nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

Pallbearers were Phillip Bedgood, Ben Brinson, Matt Williams, Richard Bedgood, and Wes Johnson.

Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
