David Loydd Price, 79

Funeral services for David Loydd Price, 79 of Swainsboro, were held Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Price officiating. Interment followed at Bithynia Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 1:30 to 2 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home. He passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021 at his residence following an extended illness.

Mr. David Loydd Price was born August 25, 1942 in Swainsboro to the late Eugene Price and Nora Sanders Price. He loved playing tennis and watching the Georgia Bulldogs. He had a beloved dog named Bear and was a member of New Beginnings. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Price, and a sister, Betty Elizabeth Beckham.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Mason Price of Swainsboro; daughters, Tammy Gene Price of Alabama and Teresa Wiley of Swainsboro; granddaughter, Paizley Price; step-great-grandchildren, Gannon Wiley, Georgeann Wiley, Sydney Harris, and Bristol Harris; and several nieces and nephews.

Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
