DEA Junior Beta competitors heading to nationals this summer

Select members of David Emanuel Academy’s Junior Beta Club are now heading to nationals after participating and winning at the state convention held virtually in December.

Scout Hall took third in Digital Art, Jilli Davis placed third in Painting, Aubrey Scott placed fifth in the Social Studies Test, Bailey McNure placed fifth in the Social Studies Test, and Emmi Lai Tyam finished third in the Language Arts Test and fourth in Creative Writing.

By placing in the top five of their respective competitions, these five students from DEA received an invitation to National Beta Convention, which will be held June 29 through July 2 in Orlando, Florida at Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Resort.
