DEA Junior Beta members give to Weekend Blessings

David Emanuel Academy’s Junior Beta Club donated $1,000 to Weekend Blessings recently. The funds were given to help provide weekend supplies of kid-friendly, nutritious food to children who are at-risk for food insecurity here in Emanuel County.

Weekend Blessings was selected as Junior Beta’s service project, and the money was collected through bake sales, popsicle sales, dress-down days, and hat days.

Beta Club officers President Addalyn Terwilliger, Secretary Henzli Hall, and Treasurer Mattie Grace Lane presented the check Weekend Blessings representative Niamh Matthews.
