Defending Champs Getting Ready for the Season

The Georgia Bulldogs are coming off one of the greatest seasons in school history winning the National Championship, finishing with a 14-1 record. The Dawgs are locked and loaded to chase after another title.
After accomplishing such a feat, it can be hard to come off of that high and prepare for the next season, but not for the Dawgs, Coach Smart has his group ready to go. The Dawgs lost a lot of defensive talent including seven starters from last year's championship team. They have plenty of young guys who are ready to take that step to become just as dominant as they were along with returning starter and leader Nolan Smith.
On the offensive side, they return Quarterback Stetson Bennett, Running backs Kenny McIntosh and Kendall Milton along with returning the phenom Brock Bowers. The receiving core is shaken up a little bit with Adonai Mitchell, Ladd McConkey, and Kearis Jackson. The offense looks like it's going to be even better than it was last season. The Dawgs open up the season with Oregon on September 3, 2022 in Atlanta at 3:30 PM.
