Derek Sconyers, 48, of Adrian, GA died on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, GA. Arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced later by Tomlinson Funeral Home.

Derek was a fun loving individual who loved making people laugh. He enjoyed playing video games and was a dedicated UGA Bulldog Football fan. Derek was preceded in death by his Father Thomas Watson "Tommy" Sconyers and his Mother Evonne Wilson Sconyers.

Survivors include his wife, Jessie Wilkerson Sconyers of Wrightsville; step-children, Haylie Osborne of Kite, Angel Wilkerson of Dublin, and Erica Johnson of Dublin; his step-mother, Angelia Sconyers of Swainsboro; aunts, Vicki Goodson (William), Joann Lane, Evelyn Patrick, Betty Jean Andrews (Eddie), and Glenda Riner (William); many cousins and extended family; and his close friends, Andy Davis, Trent Baker, and Charlie Stutz.

Tomlinson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
