Don’t forget! Chick-fil-A truck to begin servicing area this Friday

This is your friendly reminder to get your Chick-fil-A fix on Friday! The new food truck being brought to Swainsboro by the Vidalia branch of the franchise will be in town on February 25. More specifically, the local Chick-fil-A will be parked on the county lot where Schwabe Motor Company was located.

Hours will be 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and items for purchase should include chicken sandwiches, waffle fries, and cold drinks.

There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. Friday morning at the truck’s site in town, and workers will be on hand to officially begin business an hour later.

Chick-fil-A Vidalia and the local chamber of commerce have been working behind the scenes for months now to bring this new venture to town. Acting on behalf of CFA Vidalia are Britt McDade, Marissa Brown, and Sarah Bullard. The official announcement came January 27 at the annual chamber banquet, and Bullard visited two weeks ago to square away last-minute logistics in preparation for the grand opening.
