Don’t forget! Friday deadline set for mayor’s toy drive

Last week, Twin City Mayor Matt Donaldson announced plans for the town’s 2nd Annual Mayor’s Christmas Toy Drive.

The deadline to contribute to the initiative is this Friday, December 3. The giveaway will be held Saturday, December 11.

Specifically, Twin City is looking to local businesses, churches, schools, city departments, and city strategic partners for either financial contributions or gift donations. One-hundred percent of the financial donations will be used to purchase toys for local children.

Donation forms for the drive can be obtained by visiting Twin City City Hall (112 S. Railroad Avenue). Those forms and any checks should be returned back to City of Twin City, Mayor’s Christmas Toy Drive, P.O. Box 980, Twin City, GA 30471.
