Don’t forget to vote! Ward 1 council seat to be determined in runoff

While most of the council races as well as the mayoral race in Swainsboro were determined definitively in the November 3 election, there remains one race that hasn’t been: the Ward 1 seat.

If you live in Swainsboro’s Ward 1, do your part and head to the polls. Early voting began November 22 and will continue through today, November 24. To early vote, visit the Emanuel County Elections Office before 5 p.m.

Election Day for the runoff will be this coming Tuesday, November 30, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Varner 4-H Clubhouse.

The two candidates who will appear on the ballot are former one-term councilperson Sue Bragg and political newcomer DJ Davis.
