Eagles add two victories to win column

The varsity baseball program at David Emanuel Academy picked up two wins recently, offsetting a loss against longtime rival Thomas Jefferson Academy. The Eagles took down Central Georgia Arts on March 3 and Saint Andrews on March 8.

The first of those three games was played on the road in Macon, and David Emanuel won decisively 21–8.

The Eagles rode this momentum into last week as they traveled to Saint Andrews in Savannah. Though the spread wasn’t as large, David Emanuel did enough to complete the task at hand, winning 8–5.

That momentum wouldn’t be enough, however, for the Eagles to overcome the Jaguars two days later on March 10. Thomas Jefferson downed DEA in Louisville 21–0.

Stats from these three games were not available at press time.

The Eagles’ schedule also indicates they played Habersham on March 11 and Nat Greene on March 15. Again, results were not available as of Tuesday’s deadline for press.

This week, DEA should take on Covenant on March 18 and Vidalia Heritage on March 22. Both of these games will be played on the road.
