East Fall Line Region Continentals travel to American Village

Three members, Steve Burke, Alton Reynolds and Alton McCloud, of the East Fall Line Region Continentals traveled 350 miles one way to Montevallo, Ala. to participate in the "American Village, Independence Day 1776 Celebration on July 4, 2022. Since 1999, the American Village has been committed to telling the amazing stories of America's revolutionary beginning, to encourage citizens to cherish the founding principles of our Nation and the timeless ideals of liberty, and to inspire our fellow Americans to serve our country as stewards of liberty.

Our SAR members participated in several events during the day from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and were able to attend programs on the Main Stage during the evening. After a patriotic Interlude, they enjoyed "Fireworks by Southern Sky", Grand Illuminations in celebration of America's 246th Birthday.
