East Georgia set to begin conference play

East Georgia State College has been rolling through the non-conference schedule as of lately. They have won 9 of the last 12 games picking up wins against Eastern Florida State College, Columbia International, Brewton Parker and Erskine College. The Bobcats are led by Georgia Southern commit Landry Mead at the plate and on the mound. He has put together a .384 BA and a 4.37 ERA. Zach Kwiatkowski has also batted well with a .355 BA.

The Bobcats started their GCAA Conference this week against Gordon State College. Game one of the series was held Tuesday, March 21 in Swainsboro at 2 p.m. There were no game results as of press time
