Look out, Class A! ECI is making a name for itself already in yet another sport: competition cheer. The Bulldogs represented well at the Gamecock Challenge hosted at Georgia Southern University this past Saturday, beating out all other Class A competitors on October 16 for their first win of the season.
Prior to this competition, ECI took part in Vidalia High’s Sweet Onion Classic on October 9 and performed well enough for a second place finish there, a remarkable feat in that this was ECI’s first time taking the mat in over a decade.
The squad will next compete Saturday, October 23, at the Battle in the ‘Boro competition at Statesboro High School. Start time is set for approximately 2 p.m.
