ECI Football Falls Short Against Dublin

After an impressive performance in Lincoln County for their first win of the season the ECI Bulldogs were on the road again as they headed to Dublin to take on the Fighting Irish. This was a hard fought game against a bigger school and the Dawgs played great.

In the first half, the teams traded touchdowns as it was 21-21 at the half. Dublin had some turnovers in the first half that they erased in the second.

The second half was all Dublin and the final was 41-21. The Dawgs played well on offense with RB PJ Farnum running for 73 yards on 15 carries and a touchdown and Cordarius Lee had 28 yards on five carries with a touchdown.

The defense was lackluster, but showed some bright spots as Sophomore Gabe Lee had eight tackles. Dublin’s Offense is one of the better offenses the Dawgs have faced as the Irish have scored 82 points in three games.

The Dawgs host Swainsboro this week, September 16 at 7:30 p.m. at Rountree Stadium in Twin City in a clash of inter-county rivals.
