ECI football takes home Region awards

The Emanuel County Institute Football team was awarded with their players filling up the All-Region teams. The Bulldogs finished 4-7 with a 2-2 region record and made the playoffs as a three seed out of this region. The Bulldogs will be losing a big Senior class this year, but the underclassmen are ready to fill their shoes.

Representing ECI on the Region 3-A Division II First-Team All-Region Offensive Team is Bryce Kearson, Cordarius Lee, Lawson Mercer, Jack Walden, Melvin Akridge, Joseph Conner. The First-Team Defensive Team is Timmy Dobson, Hudson Henry, Gabe Lee, David Stapleton. The Second-Team Offense includes Brian Steele, James Parker, Kanyon Thompson, and Samuel McBride. Second-Team Defense includes M.J. Williams, Joseph Fullmore, Jordan Handsom, Tuff Boddiford, and Tyler Foreman.

Congrats to all of these guys

making it on the All-Region team, this team was very talented and next year is going to be a great year for the Bulldogs.
