ECI MS Baseball stay hot at the plate, rolls through Metter

By Justin Gray

When it comes to ECI MS Baseball, they can swing it. They have been dominating teams by scoring a plethora of runs every game. They were set to take on another dominant team in the region so they knew it would be tough.

In game one, the Dawgs used their dynamic duo of pitchers in Ab Marsh and Judson Underwood to hold down the Tigers, but it was Marsh who came away the winning pitcher in the 11-8 win. Underwood also led the team at the plate going 3-4 with five RBI and two home runs.

In game two, the Dawgs needed to play well to get the sweep. They went with Davis Johnson on the mound and it was a great decision as he went six innings allowing one earned run and striking out four. Ab Marsh led the way at the plate going 3-4 with four RBI and three doubles. Johnson also went 2-4 at the plate and Underwood went 1-2 getting intentionally walked three times.

The Bulldogs are heating up and look to make a run at the region championship!
