ECI softball produces top players in region

For numerous years now, Emanuel County Institute has churned out all-region recipients. This year has proven to be no different as Region 3-A Public’s Player of the Year went to Charla Clifton while Defensive Player of the Year went to Kelsey Harper.

Both Clifton and Harper are among the handful of players named to the first all-region team. Joining them on that list are Lily Robertson, Shayla Stephenson, and Sullee Boddiford.

Four others are on the second all-region team: Semi Williams, Macy Canady, Jayna Kearson, and Kayanna Thompson.

Kaylan Lamb and Ally Taylor received honorable mention all-region accolades.
