ECI students now Microsoft certified

During the month of October, students in Jessica Smith’s class at Emanuel County Institute took the Microsoft Office Specialist Exam to become certified in Outlook.

Students who passed the exam proved their technical skills by demonstrating how to customize the Outlook user interface format message content, create or insert graphic elements, and send and respond to emails and meeting requests. They can also manage and share multiple calendars, schedule meetings and appointments, create contact records and tasks, and set up contact groups to facilitate communication with other Outlook users.

With this new certification, students have proven competency at an industry entry-level and are ready to enter into the job market.
