Eggs and Issues

On Saturday, January 28, 2023, Eggs and Issues was held at Emanuel Medical Center and featured a breakfast and legislative review from Representative Butch Parrish and Senator Max Burns. The event was sponsored by Swainsboro-Emanuel County Chamber of Commerce, Emanuel County Farm Bureau, and Emanuel Medical Center. Ken Warnock, CEO of the Chamber, gave a welcome followed by an invocation from Robert Fountain, County President of Emanuel County Farm Bureau. Senator Max Burns spoke about several topics including fundamental literacy and a focus on educational opportunities from birth through career. Representative Butch Parrish followed with the mention of various issues including health coverage, trauma centers and tele-health, and the Georgia HEART Program. The review was followed by a short question and answer session.
