EGSC baseball, softball teams finish successful fall scrimmage seasons

East Georgia State College’s baseball team finished its fall scrimmage season in fine fashion last weekend with two wins over South Georgia State College.

The Bobcats won Game 1 6–5 and finished the fall season with a 7–3 win in Game 2 over South Georgia.

EGSC’s Lady Bobcat softball team had the best fall scrimmage season in the history of the program. East Georgia went 20–1 on the fall season, defeating four 4-year programs and finishing the season with a perfect 6–0 tournament record last weekend at Thomas University.

The Lady Bobcats’ JV program had an impressive 7–7 record for the fall with a 4–2 record at the final tournament of the season at Thomas University.
