Emanual County and Beyond exhibit exceeds expectations

Artist Cal Avery’s photo exhibit "Emanuel County and Beyond” opening reception on Thursday, September 15th, from 5 to 7 p.m. received 166 art enthusiasts. The exhibit will continue to be on display through October 24th in the Kalmanson Gallery. The gallery is open Tuesday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Avery says of the event, “I was amazed, humbled, and grateful for the number of people who came to view my work. Many of the people who came were not aware of the effort being made by the Emanuel Arts Council to support local artists. I hope now that more people are aware they will continue to support these events for other artists in the future.”
