Youth Volunteers Needed for Fall Festival at Pruitt Nursing Home

Pruitt Health Nursing Home is hosting a community Fall Festival and they need 4-H'ers to volunteer to stuff bags before the event, setup for the festival that afternoon, and to help during the event! This will be great community service for your portfolio and for BETA Community Service Points.

Volunteers & Teen Leaders are needed for the following jobs:

• Wednesday, October 26: help stuff goody bags, make popcorn bags, and cotton candy

• Thursday, October 27: help serve food; setup and run & activities (gourd decorating, crazy hair, carnival games, etc.); assist residents/staff

Can't make it that day but still want to help? The nursing home has also asked for donations of candy and stickers for a gourd decorating station.

Indoor Archery-- Register NOW!

Georgia 4-H offers a variety of shooting sports disciplines for youth competition, and in Emanuel County specifically, we offer Indoor Archery in addition to our shotgun programs. 4th-12th Graders may shoot a compound or recurve bow. It is recommended that all youth provide their own equipment, but a limited number team bows are available for use. Cost is $75 and includes state competition registration and team tshirt. Practice begins October 30th!
