EREA delivers pencil cards to local schools

Emanuel Retired Educators Association (EREA) has been celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year by recounting the history, remembering past leaders and informing the public about the organization.
To reach out to all education employees, EREA prepared 700+ pencil cards and delivered them to the various schools. In the first photo, Past President Elease Turner inserts pencils into cards. In the second, Yonna Bailey, secretary at Swainsboro Primary School, receives her card with pencil from President-Elect Jean Schwabe.
Don’t forget, EREA will meet at Swainsboro Primary School on April 20 at noon. The program will feature Rocky Davis, who will give information on identity theft and seniors. All members and those interested in joining are urged to attend.
