Exchangites organizing annual pancake dinner

The Swainsboro Exchange Club held a weekly meeting last Tuesday, October 5, at Rustic Grill, discussing at that time its annual pancake supper.

This year’s benefit has been organized for October 29 from 5 to 7 p.m. inside Swainsboro High School’s cafeteria. Patrons of the pancake dinner will be allowed to dine in for all-you-care-to-eat hotcakes and sausage, or they may carry out their food.

All proceeds will go to The Sunshine House Regional Child Advocacy Center in Swainsboro.

Also during the meeting, Swainsboro mayoral candidate Greg Bennett visited the group, speaking about the tasks he hopes to accomplish, should be be elected mayor.
