Fall book sale to be held at library

Calling all book-lovers! There’s an upcoming event right up your alley!

Franklin Memorial Library is running over with too many gently used books that need new homes. Some of these books came off the library shelves while others have been donated by patrons. If you would like to help these books find a new home, head on over to the library’s fall book sale, which will run October 27 through October 30, and look through the vast selection. Franklin Memorial has adult fiction, non-fiction, children’s, young adult, and romance novels galore. Prices range from $0.25 to $1 a book, or patrons can grab a bag and fill it up for $5.

All proceeds will go to the Friends of the Library, which helps fund special projects and purchases supplies for library activities.

Hours for the sale will be 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
