Family Connection receives large food grant

A $20,000 AETNA/CVS grant was awarded to Family Connection for food distribution from Ms. Shakela Williams of Aetna/CVS Health at the January 19th meeting. Mrs. Tamra Allen, Family Connection’s president, is looking forward to distributing food to Emanuel County families with children, senior citizens and college students with the money through large food distribution events and nutritional programs.
