FERST ContestOver $11,000 raised for children’s books!
Each week in October, The Crossroads Chronicle has been featuring book characters in the FERST Readers Contest and updating our readers on the total amount of money collected for books.
This week we are doing a shout out to all the characters we were not able to feature yet, and saying thank you to all the characters involved. See photos.
At the conclusion of the contest, Halloween night, the characters received over 3,823 votes raising $11,469 for local children under the age of five. Way to go all participants and donors!
