Forty-nine SHS students earn honor grad status



During a socially distanced senior assembly on Wednesday, March 31, Swainsboro High School named its honor graduates for the Class of 2021. Forty-nine made the cut this year.


Andrew Lamb earned the top spot of the class as valedictorian. Abigayle Roberts was named salutatorian.


Other honor graduates are Marshall Amerson, Jada Armstrong, Kyle Arnold, Katia Bonilla, Michael Bravo, Zaid Brown, Layla Connor, Gavin Coyt, Daniel Cruz, JaMaury Dixon, Cormizhia Durden, Phoebe Durden, Caymen Eason, Paris Eskew, Luke Fagler, Alexis Gladin, Kristen Hall, Madison Hancock, Matthew Hancock, ZaBrien Harden, Joshua Holden, Juliana Hood, Chandler Hooks, Gage Hooks, Ray’Shona Hooks, Amanda Johnson, Lessi Johnson, Faith Jones, Derrick Jones, Jaylee Justice, Tyler Kelly, Etta Key, Elijah Loyd, Shelby Lyles, KeAsia Marion, Caroline Mason, Malina McKinzie, Michael McLendon, Gracee Miller, Hailley Puckett, Adam Ruiz-Castano, Mackenzie Terry, Tate Thompson, Justin Washington, Wesley Wilkerson, Jessica Wingate, and Lake Woods.


In order to reach honor graduate status, students must achieve a cumulative, non-rounded GPA of 90 or higher.
