Four defendants sentenced in superior court
Emanuel County Superior Court convened last week to address one felony murder, one gang terrorism, three drug possession, two burglary, one rape, and several aggravated assault charges.
Stacia Ambrianna Burke negotiated a guilty plea on three separate charges for possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and Fentenyl. Burke was sentenced to 8 years of probation and fined $1,500.
Larry Burton Bailey III negotiated a guilty plea on four charges of aggravate assault. He was sentenced a total of 20 years with the first 7 years to be served in confinement and the remainder to be served on probation. He was fined $50.
Larry Burton Bailey III also negotiated a guilty plea on one charge of criminal damage to property in the second degree, one charge of aggravate assault, one charge of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and one charge of burglary in the first degree. He was sentenced at total of 25 years with the first 7 years to be served in confinement and the remainder to be served on probation. He was fined $50.
Amahri Huston negotiated a guilty plea on one charge of burglary in the first degree, one charge of aggravated sodomy, one charge of rape, one charge of aggravated assault and one charge of cruelty to a child in the first degree. He was sentenced for a total of life with the first 25 years to be served in confinement and the remainder to be served on probation. He was fined $50.
Talik Reaun Williams negotiated a guilty plea on one charge of felony murder, one charge of violation of the street gang terrorism and prevention act, and one charge of felony murder reduced to conspiracy to commit murder. He was sentenced for a total of life without parole.
