Gaynell May Hymel, 65

Graveside services for Gaynell May Hymel, 65 of Swainsboro, were held Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Eastbrook Cemetery at 2 p.m. with Mr. Cameron Kennison officiating. The family received friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Chapman Funeral Home. She passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022 in at AU Medical Center in Augusta following an extended illness.

Ms. Gaynell May Hymel was born April 22, 1956 in Louisiana. She was of the Catholic faith, and she was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Kimble and Roberta Rogers, her sister, Charlene Robertson, and her brother, Bobby Kimble.

Survivors include her daughter, Dehia Graham (Josh) of Swainsboro; son, Bobby Hymel of Augusta; fiancé, David Fulcher of Swainsboro; brothers, Bubba Kimble (Rose) and Bryan Kimble, both of Augusta, Joey Gilland and Keith Kimble, both of Louisiana, Billy Daigrepont, and John Smith; sisters, Paulette Elmore (Dan), Tina Derrick, Eva Marie Manuel, all of Mississippi, Nina Schexnayder, Ericka Manuel, Charlotte Martin of Mexico, and Elouise Landry (Chase) of Louisiana; grandchildren, Jade Cochran, Jacob Cochran, and Donald Hymel; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Pallbearers were Jacob Cochran, Josh Graham, Jade Cochran, and David Fulcher.

Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
