Georgia Football: Dawgs Handle Samford

The Dawgs hosted Samford for their first home game since the National Title and the fans showed up. With a packed house the Dawgs got a much expected blowout win 33-0.

The offense was not great at times, but that's what these games are for. QB Stetson Bennett went 24/35 for 300 yards and a touchdown, adding a rushing touchdown also. RB Kendall Milton ran crazy on 10 attempts for 85 yards. RB Kenny McIntosh added a rushing touchdown as well. Kicker Jack Podlesny made four field goals on the day.

The Defense was the highlight of the day only allowing 128 yards the whole game and forced a turnover. Smael Mondon Jr. had four tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and a sack to lead the way.

The Dawgs hope to be more crisp as they travel to Columbia to take on the Gamecocks of South Carolina. They jumped Alabama in the AP Poll to become ranked number one in the country! The Dawgs are playing well and they are fun to watch!
