College football is here! One of the greatest days of the year is the first Saturday of college football, where you either play a cupcake game or a tough week one matchup.
This year the Dawgs are faced with a tough matchup as they head to Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta to face the 11th ranked Ducks of Oregon.
This is nothing new as the Dawgs defeated third ranked Clemson in week one of last season. The Ducks are a poised team with a new Head Coach Dan Lanning, who was Georgia’s defensive coordinator for the previous three seasons.
The Dawgs open up as huge favorites over the Ducks with the line of 17.5 O/U. This year’s team is going to have to rely on that offense to put up some points.
Last year’s team was all defense and gave the offense any room for error they needed. The Ducks will be a great test for the offense as they don’t have a great defense.
The Oregon offense has a lot of questions and it just seems like the Dawgs will get pushed, but it won’t be much of a competition.
