Georgia Softball Has High Hopes for 2023 Season

It’s almost that time, College Softball season is almost here.The Lady Dawgs are gearing up for a long and hopefully successful season. The Lady Dawgs have high expectations coming into the season as they are ranked as high as 10th nationally in the polls. They are coming off of a great season where they gave the Regional host Duke a run for their money last season, almost making a Super Regional. The Lady Dawgs have their eyes set on Oklahoma City, Oklahoma this year where the Women’s College World Series is held. They return a plethora of starters and key pieces to the team and can’t wait to get on the field. Two players stand out for the Lady Dawgs. They are Sara Mosley and Jayda Kearney who were both named to the Top 50 watch list for the 2023 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year Award. These ladies will be fun to watch this season. They open up the season in Orlando on February 9th playing UCF, it will be a tournament so they’ll play five games in three days. This season should be a good one for the Lady Dawgs.
