Hall, Davis, and Bivins win library’s poster contest

Franklin Memorial Library organized a poster contest for Black History Month, calling for elementary through high school students to submit a poster based around this year’s theme, “Black Health and Wellness.” The library confirmed its three winners in an email on Friday: Jaliyah Hall, Deivion Davis, and Jamarquez Bivins.
Hall is a fifth grade student at Swainsboro Elementary, Davis is a seventh grader at Swainsboro Middle, and Bivins is a senior at Swainsboro High.
All three winners received a black history-themed zippered pouch, a water bottle, a bookmark and a pencil, a chain tag, a notepad and a Walmart gift card.
All contestants who submitted an entry received a treat bag of goodies.
Gift cards were made possible through donations from Future Generation and Bethlehem Temple Worship Center.
