Justin Hart secured an $1,100 payout between two races at two different venues this past weekend. He won the first of the weekend’s two races on Friday night at Oglethorpe Speedway Park. His second win came at Modoc Speedway in South Carolina on Saturday night, May 22. Hart competed in the Road Warrior class at both tracks.
In Savannah, he started inside pole of the heat and won, allowing him to start on the pole in the feature race. He led the entire 15-lap race, beating out 15 other cars for the spot in Victory Lane. He pocketed $400 for the May 21 win.
Carrying that winning momentum with him to Modoc Speedway the next night, Hart started ninth in the heat race, drove to the front, and won. He started on the pole again in the feature and led all 15 laps to beat out 19 other drivers for the $700 win on May 22.
“The past couple of weekends, I’ve been fighting an upset car. We couldn’t find anything wrong, so we flipped the whole car and started over from scratch,” Hart said. “Friday night, we went to OSP, won our heat, and started on the pole for the feature, lead it flag to flag, and took home the W. We went Saturday to Modoc, won our heat, started on the pole for the feature, and we managed to lead that race from flag to flag also and took home another win. I couldn’t ask for a better weekend!”
Hart would like to take this time to acknowledge the sponsors who make his racing happen: Fast Track Chassis, Justin Logging, Extreme Concrete Construction, CT Construction, Pigeon Creek Outfitters, G&A Logging, Wilkerson Towing, and Kam Transportation.
He will next race May 28-30 in a 3-day show at Cochran Motor Speedway for $1,500 to win.
