Hazel O’Neal Jenkins, 81

Memorial services for Hazel O’Neal Jenkins, 81 of Swainsboro, will be held privately at a later date. She passed away Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Memorial Health in Savannah following an extended illness.
Ms. Hazel O’Neal Jenkins was born November 22, 1940 in Sylvania to the late Jessie Kerr Jenkins and Vivian Francis Dickey Jenkins. She went to Sylvania High School and later married Mack H. Farrow on June 17, 1966 in Columbia, South Carolina. The two were baptized members of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Ms. Jenkins worked as an insurance agent for State Farm for 18 years before becoming a stay-at-home mother. She enjoyed spending her free time making clothes, singing, and dancing with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Susan Naomi Jenkins of Knoxville, Tennessee and Rose Evelyn Taylor of Millen.
Survivors include her daughter, Lynn Rene Farrow of Savannah; her grandsons, Jacob Dalton Edenfield (Jamie) of Savannah and Tyler Seth Passmore of Swainsboro; and great-grandchildren, Braxton Ace Passmore, Makenley Gray Edenfield, and James “Otto” Edenfield.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses, and other staff of Memorial Health in Savannah for the care and love shown to their sweet Hazel.
