Health score updates: Four restaurants have perfect ratings

The Crossroads Chronicle last reported health score updates for Emanuel County businesses in the July 14, 2021 edition. In that report, data from the Department of Public Health’s website indicated the most recent date of inspections to be July 8.

Due to staff shortages, the health department has been able to evaluate only nine businesses and designate new health scores since then. Four area food establishments received perfect scores. Three others received received ratings in the 90s. The remaining two scored in the 80s. Their respective scores are as listed below.

• Catered Creations – Swainsboro, 100; Last inspected 7/28/2021

• Coleman House Inn – Swainsboro, 100; Last inspected 7/28/2021

• Lane’s Soul Food & Caribbean Kitchen – Swainsboro, 100; Last inspected 7/27/2021

• Emanuel Medical Center – Swainsboro, 96; Last inspected 7/27/2021

• Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen – Swainsboro, 96; Last inspected 7/19/2021

• Kentucky Fried Chicken – Swainsboro, 92; Last inspected 7/19/2021

• Dragon Loco – Swainsboro, 83; Last inspected 7/19/2021

• Sports Talk – Stillmore, 80; Last inspected 7/29/2021
