Help Twin City name its new festival!

The City of Twin City is looking to the public for its help in selecting a name for its first official city festival. Citizens are encouraged to submit to a contest their best ideas; hopefully, this will yield the best possible name, one that will be used for years to come, for the new event.

“The naming contest is open to everyone, regardless of domicile,” said Huddie Culbreth, manager of Main Street Twin City. “We simply want creative ideas and a unique name for this newly planned event.

Submissions will be accepted through August 20 with judging to take place one week later, August 27. Entries will be judged based on originality and creativity.

“The name should also reflect our mission, what we are about, or something unique to our city,” Culbreth continued. “We are excited to see the ideas!”

The winning entry will receive a prize of $250.

Forms may be obtained from the Twin City Welcome Center, Twin City City Hall, or online at www.twincityga.com.

Completed forms should be submitted to either P.O. Box 980, Twin City, GA 30471 or emailed to mainstreet@twincityga.com.

For more information, contact Culbreth at 478-763-2696.
