Historical Marker repaired by the city

On Wednesday, August 17, 2022, the City of Swainsboro's Maintenance department was contacted about a historical marker on the corner of Racetrack Street and Pine Street that had been hit by a vehicle and pushed over about 45 degrees.

It was dangerous and could have been damaged beyond repair if neglected. Thanks to our city employees, by the afternoon of the next day, the historical marker was repaired and replaced. Thanks for a job well done.
