Interested in Shop with a Cop? Pick up application today

Swainsboro Police Department’s Chief Randy Ellison announced last week that applications for this year’s Shop with a Cop program are now being accepted. Forms are now available at headquarters (212 N. Main Street, Swainsboro) and should be returned by Monday, December 13, at 4 p.m. sharp.

Eligible participants are children between the ages of 3- and 12-years-old.

The program started locally nine years ago, connecting area children and law enforcement officers for a Christmas shopping spree at Walmart.
