Memorial services for Jason Hall Arnette, 68, will be held privately at a later date.He passed away January 23, 2021 at Emanuel County Nursing Home after an extended illness.

Mr. Jason Hall Arnette was born in Winnsboro, South Carolina on December 19, 1952 to Maree Owens Arnette and Berry Feaster Arnette. He graduated from Winnsboro High School and the University of South Carolina with a master’s degree in journalism. He served in the Army National Guard before returning for a post-graduate degree in advertising. Mr. Arnette traveled extensively before settling in California. He was a member of the Pacific Resident Theater in Venice, California as a playwright and actor before returning to Winnsboro due to his illness. Mr. Arnette is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Samuel Berry Arnette.
