A weekend tilt against Jeff Davis was rescheduled due to COVID-19 issues with the Yellow Jackets as the season will be extended by another week for teams to catch up on games that were postponed. Swainsboro will host Vidalia and Bacon County this Friday and Saturday before closing out the regular season with a home game against Jeff Davis on Saturday, February 13. The region tournament will begin the following week.
In the girls’ game, the Lady Tigers played an intense battle that went down to the buzzer, losing 45-43 as East Laurens got it done late. Tanyia Williams led Swainsboro with 12 points.
